Traditionally the event has been held on a specifically groomed and marked trail around Yorkton, measuring between 100 and 150 kilometers, and would also include a breakfast, midpoint lunch, and awards banquet. However due to the ongoing pandemic, the large gathering aspect is not possible, leading to a new twist for 2021. Instead, this year those wishing to take part are eligible to ride from wherever they might be located across Saskatchewan, and for whatever distance works best for them, any time between Feb. 15 and 27. Registrants raising the minimum pledge are also eligible to receive rider packs, including gift cards for fuel and meals among other things.
