The 2022 Porsche Macan range has been updated and slimmed down, with the GTS taking over as the flagship variant in the three-model range, as Porsche shelves the Turbo badge for the time being. While the 324kW/550Nm of power as the outgoing Turbo, Porsche has also upgraded the mid-range Macan S, with its engine replacing the outgoing 3.0-litre single-turbo V6. The entry-level 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine increasing 10kW to 195kW, along with an increase of $500 to $84,800 before on-road costs. On paper, the Macan S appears to have gone up in price by $5000 to $105,800 plus on-road costs, but is actually $6500 less than the outgoing GTS while enjoying the same level of performance.
