Tia Nelson will discuss the film created to inspire the continued legacy of her father, former Gov. Gaylord Nelson, who founded Earth Day.
Nelson also was a U.S. senator. He had a vision, a day to celebrate nature and the environment, and on April 22, 1970, he launched the first Earth Day.
His daughter is the former managing director of the climate program at the Outrider
Foundation in Madison.
