Since the pandemic began, there have been 647,768 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. There were no new deaths caused by COVID-19 reported in Barnstable County on Sunday. Since March 2020, 461 people with COVID-19 on Cape Cod have died. There were no new deaths reported in Dukes and Nantucket counties. As of Sunday, the state reported a total of five deaths between the two counties. Barnstable County had 26 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus Sunday for a total of 13,573 since last March. Dukes County on Martha's Vineyard had three new cases Sunday for a total of 1,278 to date. Nantucket County, which has had 1,495 coronavirus cases, had two new cases reported Sunday.
