IF YOU fancy diving into some open water swimming in April there are plenty of places not too far from Salisbury. Under Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, outdoor activities such as outdoor swimming, tennis and golf have been allowed since Monday (March 29). Good Friday (April 2) and Easter Sunday (April 4) are shaping up to be the best days for a dip, with highs of 12C and sunny spells predicted, according to the Met Office. If you're brave enough to brace colder conditions, the needle is expected to reach 11C on Saturday (April 3) and just 9C on Monday (April 5). Government guidance is still 'stay local' and to minimise travel. But as long as you're sensible and any of the below are nearby, you should be within the rules to head out for a quick dip.
