By Jason Taylor Apr 21, 2021 IOWA CITY, Iowa - A fourth and final finalist to be the next University of Iowa president has been announced by the state Board of Regents. Daniel Clay is the Dean of the University of Iowa College of Education. He'll take part in a public forum on campus Thursday afternoon at 3:30, and will also be visiting on campus Friday. Clay joins Georgia State University Provost Wendy Hensel, University of Illinois Academic Affairs Vice President Barbara Wilson and Penn State Law and International Affairs Dean Hari Osofsky in the running for UI's top spot. After completion of the campus visits, the Board of Regents plans to meet at the end of April at the University of Iowa to hear from the search committee and interview the finalists.
