Ruby Boglione The Richmond-based restaurant and garden centre, Petersham Nurseries, has been the go-to al fresco eatery and shopping destination for the smart set since the Gael and Francesco Boglione first opened its doors in 2004, seven years after the family swapped central London for Petersham House. Now, 17 years and two further restaurants later, they are slowly handing over the reins to the next generation, including youngest daughter Ruby (a friend of Lady Lola Crichton-Stuart and the Aboah sisters). Petersham Emporium filled with antiques, unique pieces of furniture and art, glassware and ceramics Advertisement With garden centres being one of the first things to open following the first lockdown, it's unsurprising that Petersham Nurseries became something of a hot spot amongst West Londoners, keen to snap up a spruce of something green, as well as some of the restaurant's famous crockery and glassware. Hot on the heels of that success comes the launch of a new online shop on Instagram, Petersham Nurseries Emporium, helmed by Ruby (who also runs the Petersham Platform, a space for discussing sustainability, gastronomy and agriculture). With weekly drops on a Tuesday, followers simply message to purchase, with the curated space offering fans of Petersham's aesthetic to get their hands on truly unique artisanal and hand-crafted pieces.
