Michael Berry died Tuesday, Jan. 19 after a weekend attack in Tarrant.
A 74-year-old man critically injured in a weekend assault has died, and now a homicide investigation is underway.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday identified the victim as Michael Ryan Berry. The wounded man was discovered in the 1200 block of Hanover Street in Tarrant.
Tarrant police and fire medics were dispatched at 9:43 a.m. to the location on a report of an assault. They arrived on the scene to find Berry bleeding from the head.
