A central Pa. man was in a car crash in 1980. He just died from those injuries: coroner Updated 9:25 PM; A man who fell asleep behind the wheel and drove off a cliff when he was in his late 20s died this week from injuries he suffered in that crash, the York County Coroner Pam Gay announced Wednesday. 67-year-old William Robertson was in his late 20s in 1980 when, while alone in his car, he fell asleep and crashed into an electric substation in Greensburg, Gay said. Robertson was ejected from his car, which led to him being quadriplegic. Robertson was a resident of ManorCare Kingston Court in Springettsbury Township for many years, Gay said.
