Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 21, 1921. Samples of certified seed produced on Sheridan county farms continue to arrive in the office of the Sheridan County Farm Bureau in the courthouse. Many other farmers are submitting seeds to Agriculturist Thomas for certification by the state laboratories. The Mary Martha Class of the Methodist church held their monthly banquet yesterday at the home of Mrs. Sherman Welton on Sheridan avenue. A most enjoyable afternoon was reported. “Doc” Spear has received from Scotland two bulls and five cows of thoroughbred “Scotch Highland” stock. They will be placed on his Buffalo range.
