Victorville Daily Press A man was struck and killed Wednesday night by a driver in a Victorville neighborhood near Village Drive. The Victorville Sheriff’s Station said the motorist remained at the scene to render aid until first responders arrived. The sheriff’s station said that at approximately 9:08 p.m., deputies and personnel from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response were dispatched to a collision in the area of North Culver and Burwood roads. Upon arrival, deputies located a man in the roadway on North Culver Road who was suffering from major injuries, and despite life-saving measures, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene, the sheriff’s report said.
