The Herald-Times Anyone traveling down West Kirkwood Avenue recently has probably noticed activity in the former Morrison's TV & Appliances store. Rose Hill Farm Stop, a nonprofit agricultural cooperative with about 30 vendors — farmers and food artisans — will open this summer at 902 W. Kirkwood Ave., between Rogers Street and the intersection with Adams. Its website says, "We are a new cooperative of small, local farmers opening a retail and aggregation outlet to connect the Bloomington community with transparently sourced, healthful food." The concept is to provide Bloomington-area residents with locally grown, sustainable food all week long while providing local farmers, crafts people and food vendors with a space to sell their products.
