According to the United States Census Bureau, the population in Flagler County grew by 20.3% (or 115,000 people) between 2010 and 2019, and even during a global pandemic, 240,256 people still moved to Florida in 2020. If these trends tell us anything, it’s that Palm Coast will need to provide more housing — and fast — to keep up with incoming residents. In addition to bringing more medical jobs and larger educational institutions to the city, Douglas Property & Development President Jeff Douglas knows that ample housing is another necessary piece of the economic puzzle.
