Auckland University microbiologist and animal researcher, Siouxsie Wiles, says the move has meaning. She says anti-vivisectionists are one of the only groups speaking up - and researchers are quite silent. She says sometimes that leads to misunderstandings about what's going on, so it's important the people doing the work say what they're doing, and why and how.
