The latest edition of Abingdon and Witney College, has finally been completed. The new Construction Skills Centre, which is based in Bicester, is part of the college's commitment to delivering more apprenticeships across the county. The college will provide over 100 apprentice places each year, including provisions for adults. Jacqui Canton, principal and CEO of the college said: "We know how significant the construction centre is for the region, and this brand new centre will provide training opportunities. Funding was secured for the project by the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership through the government-led Local Growth Fund. While the opening of the centre has been delayed due to COVID-19, apprenticeships are already running with applications open to prospective apprentices.
