Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy growing into its new space Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy opened its high school this year with about 100 ninth-graders in a brand-new building known as the 6-12 campus. As part of the Youngsville school's expansion, middle-schoolers moved from the original building next door into the new structure that was completed in June. So the K-8 school shifted to a larger K-5 and 6-12 charter. That allowed the elementary grades to grow, too. Each level added two teachers and 50 students, Principal Christine Stoudt said. ARCA will continue to grow its older population over the next three years, adding a grade level and increasing enrollment in other grades each year until it is fully K-12 in 2023.
