ACCC sues BMS software provider over alleged bid rigging attempt

Australia’s competition watchdog has launched legal action against a Canberra-based building management system software provider over an alleged attempt to price-fix a National Gallery of Australia tender.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission alleged that Delta Building Automation and its director Timothy Davis sought to rig tender bids for a replacement building management system.
A Delta Building Automation spokesperson declined to comment when contacted by
iTnews.
Building management systems are used to monitor and control power systems, elevators, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, security systems and video surveillance.
