General secretary of the Barbados Union of Teachers, Herbert Gittens, said while he had not received major complaints from teachers ahead of the new school term, which will be done virtually, the devices remained a challenge in some instances. “The Ministry of Education tried to address it, because they would have sent out information to the teachers so that they can submit to them where they are in need of devices for the online classes,” he told the DAILY NATION.
