December 10, 2020 Dr. Paul Brooke, professor of English at Grand View, was given a one-week residency at The Writer's Colony at Dairy Hollow in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where he will work on his newest collection Finding Meteorites in Antarctica. His poem, "Gwsbery," was selected as a finalist for the International Proverse Poetry Prize in Hong Kong, while he was just named co-chair of the Awards Committee for the North American Nature Photographers Association (NANPA) for 2020-2022.
