By www.iHeartToby.com Woman working at home in trendy apartment. Question: Would you PASS UP a $30,000 per year raise in order to keep working from home - or from a remote location? Well, it looks like some employees... actually WOULD! A survey from the networking site BLIND found 64 percent of working professionals would skip out on a $30,000 pay raise if it meant they could keep working from home. Now, the survey didn't ask what existing salaries are, if they are being given free gear/work-from-home equipment, reimbursements for WIFI or home Internet, etc. The survey researchers DID, however, find that employees at companies like ZILLOW, TWITTER and MICROSOFT would pass up the cash to work remotely. Employees at San Diego's QUALCOMM said they'd take the raise.
