The Christmas holidays have given Scouts at the 10th Chippenham Scout Group ample opportunities to make the most of the great outdoors Under current restrictions the young people can form “bubbles” of 15 with up to five adults in a supervisory role. Just before Christmas on a wet and chilly Tuesday afternoon the Scouts completed a gruelling 3 1/2 mile hike and navigation exercise around Corsham Court with two “bubbles” walking in opposite directions around a circular course. Soggy hikers pose for the camera at Westrop The group even created their own new sport 'mud skating' as well as 'find the walking shoe' after footwear managed to get stuck up to 10 inches deep in the mud.
