Adolescents 12 and older on Guam can receive Pfizer vaccine Pacific Daily News View Comments Children age 12 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine on Guam, following a recommendation by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Parents who wish to have their children vaccinated can bring them to the clinic at University of Guam's Calvo Field House beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday morning, Adelup spokeswoman Krystal Paco-San Agustin said. "Minors who are 12- to 17-years of age may only receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine as the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen (J & J/Janssen) vaccines are not recommended for individuals below the age of 18 years," according to a Joint Information Center statement. "Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. The parent or legal guardian will also be required to sign a consent form."
