Adrian plans to install splash pad at Parish Park Martha A. Churchill ADRIAN — A splash pad is being planned for a park on Adrian's east side. The city is looking at several splash pad features to be set up at Parish Park, with equipment likely being ordered in July. The contractor, Penchura LLC of Brighton, has experience installing splash parks in other municipalities in Michigan. At the Adrian City Commission's premeeting Monday, Matt Tomaszewski, parks and engineering director for the city, walked the commissioners through a few options, including some packages that would be more economical than customizing a plan. Milan is using the same contractor and is installing a splash pad that costs $180,000. He said that's more than the $130,000 to $150,000 Adrian has budgeted.
