AFFIDAVIT: Robbery Suspect Threatened to Kill Judge and Officers
SAN ANGELO, TX – Last Wednesday a Mississippi man attempted to rob a man at the Icon Cinema. He then led police on a chase but after his arrest he got additional charges for threatening to kill the judge. According to court documents, on Apr. 21 at around 5 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to 2020 N. Bryant Blvd for the report of a subject with a weapon. When officers arrived they were told by a man driving a 2020 Corvette C8 that someone had just tried to rob him. The driver told police that the suspect was still on scene. As officers attempted to question the suspect he drove out of the parking lot in a gray Ford F150 pickup truck at a high rate of speed and a chase ensued.
