The latest edition of Clyde & Co’s Insurance Growth Report 2021, Finding opportunity in adversity, has shown that the annual volume of global insurance deals in 2020 reached its Of the regions surveyed, M&A insurance transactions in the Middle East and Africa grew the most in 2020, by 166.7%. Although the region saw the biggest rise in percentage terms, this was from a low base, with 32 completed deals in 2020, compared with 12 the year before.
