Credit THP NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- Today’s snow, sleet and freezing rain won’t be the end of Middle Tennessee’s winter weather misery. Nashville Weather Service meteorologists tell WMOT Monday afternoon’s forecast calls for mostly snow and sleet west of I-65. Freezing rain and sleet will predominate east of I-65. The mixed precipitation should end by sundown or soon after. Mid-state residents should prepare for dangerously cold temperatures tonight. Meteorologists are expecting a low of 13 overnight. Be sure your home’s water pipes are protected. Bring those outdoor pets indoors if you can. Otherwise, be sure they have a warm dry place to sleep. Also make sure they have access to water.
