AirTran customers affected by weather can change travel plans without penalty December 28, 2010 ORLANDO, Fla. – AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., advises passengers scheduled for travel to/from cities in the northeast affected by the winter weather system that the airline has extended the waiver period to 14 days past original date of travel for those passengers booked for travel today through Thursday, December 30, 2010. Passengers may change their reservation without penalty as long as travel is completed within 14 days after the original scheduled departure date, based on space availability without fees or fare adjustments to the following cities: Allentown, Pa., Atlantic City, N.J., Baltimore/Washington, Md. (BWI), Boston, Mass., Buffalo, N.Y., Harrisburg, Pa., Newport News/Williamsburg, Va., New York, N.Y.
