(WVIR) - With Wednesdayâs scene at the U.S. Capitol front of mind, Superintendent Matthew Haas sent a message Thursday to the Albemarle County Schools community that the division values excellence, young people, community and respect. He also asked students and staff to assess and take care of themselves. âCurrent events are always teachable moments, often powerfully so,â said Haas in the video message. âIn our classrooms, our goal is for all of our students to become successful learners, have successful careers, and to be successful citizens.â
