Domino effect without impinging on peoples right to use the internet and the critics that will say it affects free speech precisely i mean i think that free speech on the internet is actually something that we really do need to commit ourselves to and that makes this a really difficult difficult balancing act right im not particularly comfortable with the idea that we should give the government or indeed a you know large Tech Companies even more monitoring powers into our private lives but i sue certainly think that these sites will always find a way to exist but at the minute whats happening is theyre profiting essentially off the extremism effect that theyre creating so they have a vested interest in more and more people becoming radicalized and therefore spending more and more time on their site and that is something that we can actually tackle the profit motive without directly impinging on free speech in my opinion. So why if that is something quite an obvious relatively simple step to take why is that not being done.
