Falling in the polls and. Theres no question that this white house is going to try to put a positive spin on this as americans wake up. But following that he was scheduled to travel to his hotel down pennsylvania avenue from the white house where he was going to be participating in a roundtable with supporters he was then expected to late in the afternoon travel to go to sanford florida where he was expected to have a make america d great again event that has all been canceled and theres an enormous amount of preparation that goes into these events not just the tickets but the coordination with the local Officials Police forces and enormous amount of money has already been spent on this that has now simply been canceled with this news so the president has had all of this canceled whether or not he continues to do a lot of this campaigning from the white house is unclear it may be all contingent on the president s health and at the same time. You know he may be able to continue doing some of these activities in terms of continuation of government right now the president we have no reason to believe is incapacitated so nothing has changed there but it will be a day by day eve but certainly hour by hour situation where its potential for the Vice President to be called in to try and supplement the president ial duties as the president fights cope with 19 lets just talk about the political implications of all this what i say political i mean campaigning for the election we talked a little bit earlier about what the democratic partys response to this might be if for those that missed can you just repeat to us kimberly what you think the effect on the election this might have. Its i dont think that any anyone can definitively answer that just yet in the date of the election is in trying to in the u. S. Constitution it doesnt 5 really change in terms of where landfall. The calendar 5 but the fact that the u. S. And china weve seen that recently with all of the tensions the military exercises that have taken place around taiwan the attempts by america it seems much to to chinas anger to curry favor or to increase relations with taiwan that the Mainland China regards with increasing suspicion it doesnt like these ties and there is a suspicion that the trump regime has been using relationships with countries like taiwan or japan south korea as a way of getting at china were having we are preparing here in asia for a visit next week by mike pompei of the u.
