Lafayette Learning Center, Frelinghuysen Middle School and all K-5 schools in the district will reopen for in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 5. The high school will continue all virtual instruction until Friday, January 8, Pendergrast said. The delay of in-person instruction for high school students was due to 12 current active cases, most of which are related, he said. The decision to resume in-person instuction at the high school level will be decided next week. During this time, there will be no in-person extracurricular activities, co-curricular activities or sports.
