Man accused of setting home on fire with wife inside The Daily Jeffersonian An alleged arsonist accused of setting his Cambridge home on fire with a famale inside has been found competent to stand trial. William Lee Mason Sr., 53, was indicted by a Guernsey County Common Pleas Court grand jury on two counts of arson, first- and second-degree felonies, respectively, for his alleged actions on May 31, 2020. A two-day jury trial is scheduled for April 6 in the common pleas court. Bond for Mason was set at $50,000, cash or surety with no 10% allowed, during a recent arraignment hearing. He is also required to sign a personal recognizance bond prior to his release.
