STARK PARKS — Stark County Park District has announced David Regula has joined the Board of Park Commissioners. Regula has been with Akron-Canton Airport since 2004, and serves as vice president of customer experience. A graduate of the University of Mount Union, he also maintains a broker’s license in real estate, a professional auctioneer’s license, and is the principal broker for Relocation 1 Realty. He has served on the Ohio Turnpike Commission as vice chairman, as a Bethlehem Township trustee, and serves on the Ohio Department of Transportation Transportation Advisory Council. Regula replaces Andrew Hayden, who served on the board from 2011 to 2020. At the board's Jan. 5 meeting, Denise Freeland was elected chairperson, and Bill Bryan was elected vice chairperson.
