Alliance Middle School principal to leave district Review Staff Report Alliance City School District has begun a search for a new principal for its middle school after the resignation of Troy Russell. Russell will serve until the end of the school year after accepting a position in another district, according to a release from ACS. Russell was hired in 2016 as assistant principal at AMS and was named principal in 2017. In his time at Alliance Middle School, officials said he “helped to create a culture of inclusion, curiosity and positivity.” “His work implementing the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program has made AMS a model PBIS school and has earned them the Silver PBIS award for the past two years,” the release said.
