Amid updated state guidance, Wagner College makes new commencement plans with guests permitted

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — After New York State shared updated guidance for schools, colleges, and universities to host indoor and outdoor graduation ceremonies, Wagner College announced a revision of its earlier plans for commencement ceremonies this spring that will permit graduates to invite two guests.
The previous guidance restricted graduations to 150 people. Under this cap, Wagner planned three commencement events for the Class of 2021, plus a commencement for the Class of 2020, each with no guests.
