OGUNQUIT, Maine — From Ogunquit Playhouse stars, to generations of families visiting the seaside community, to local friends, Amore Breakfast has welcomed customers the same way for more than 25 years — with fun and inviting retro décor, music of the '50s and '60s flowing through the air, and Leanne Cusimano greeting them as family. “What I truly and honestly feel is our customers saw this as a home away from home and me as sort of the mom at the door saying, 'OK, come on in. It’s time for breakfast. Put your skateboards away, kids,'" said Cusimano, who announced the restaurant’s permanent closure last week. "But they gave me so much, they have no idea. They were the company that you waited all week for to pull in your driveway so you could say, 'Come on in.'"
