Score one against Tom Loy’s utter confidence. After speculation for months that Michigan had extracted a WR/ATH from Notre Dame’s class, Amorion Walker made it official. It's official: #GoBlue flips #Irish verbal Amorion Walker after a long battle for the Louisiana star. 3*, 5.7, NR Ovr #40 ATH, #27 LA 4*, 80, #127 SE #45 WR, #17 LA 3*, 87, NR Ovr #52 ATH, #30 LA 3* , 88, NR Ovr #71 WR, #20 LA 3*, 0.8784, #526 Ovr #34 ATH, #26 LA
3.68 3.93 3.61 3.73 3.78
Walker is a tall, gangly track athlete (triple jump) and deep threat receiving prospect that some schools, including Michigan via On3’s EJ Holland($), also consider a possibility at cornerback or safety in the mold of Jeremy Clark. Given the makeup of the class, he’ll certainly be tried at receiver first.
