By Brendan LaChance on February 9, 2021 (Shutterstock) CASPER, Wyo. — Bitter cold temperatures are expected to continue in Wyoming and wind chill values could reach as low as -45 degrees by the weekend in some areas, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton. “The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes,” the NWS in Riverton says. Wind chill values from -30 degrees to -45 degrees are expected in areas such as Torrington, Douglas, Glenrock and Lusk. Article continues below... The Casper area is expected to see wind chills as low as -10 degrees on Tuesday night, dropping as low as -15 degrees on Wednesday.
