The 11-day covid curfew from Saturday is set to have an adverse impact on the manufacturing industry and the hospitality sector, affecting the livelihoods of thousands of people in Bengaluru. Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday announced that the curfew will be in force between 10 pm and 5 am from Saturday. According to PC Rao, president, Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association, the hospitality segment in Bengaluru is on the recovery path but the proposed curfew will come as a disaster. “Citizens go to hotels after 9 pm.
