COLLINGSWOOD - A 14-year-old boy is accused of fatally injuring a 94-year-old man as he walked through the lobby of an apartment building here. The Collingswood youth, whose name was not released, allegedly struck the elderly victim, Anthony Donofrio, on the evening of Jan. 7, said the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Donofrio died from his injuries on Thursday night, the prosecutor's office said. The incident occurred in the Parkview at Collingswood complex on the 500 block of Newton Lake Drive, the prosecutor's office said in a statement. "We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our residents, and our thoughts are with his family at this time," said the property's manager, Jacqueline DeRita, who described the incident as "a horrible tragedy."
