Apple iPhone users complains about Face ID not working post

It was recently reported by several iPhone users, that the Face ID recognition feature of their handset stopped working post updating their device to iOS 15.7.1. A number of users have complained about an error being displayed after trying to unlock the device with Face ID recognition.
