April's average house price was up 14.2% from a year before

Northeast Ohio home sales edged up last month, and prices kept climbing due to intense buyer demand and scarce supply. A pure comparison to 2020 figures is tough, though, since the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home orders disrupted the market last spring.
