Listen up vinyl enthusiasts: If you purchased LPs from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (a.k.a. MoFi) between 2007 and 2022, you may be entitled to a payout as part of a proposed $25 million class-action settlement against the audiophile record label. But you have to act by September 21. The settlement stems from a lawsuit filed last summer by MoFi customers who accused the company of falsely marketing and promoting LPs as “analog only” even though a Direct Stream Digital (DSD) transfer step was used in the mastering chain.
