Guitarist Miché Fambro dies at 64 : vimarsana.com

Miché Fambro, a musician known for playing guitar upside down, died Dec. 18 following a battle with cancer. He was 64 years old.
Fambro, who lived in Conesus, had days earlier announced that the liver cancer he was battling had shifted to a terminal diagnosis.
Fambro was a charismatic, internationally-known guitarist who performed often in Western New York. He toured through the United States, Canada and Europe, opening for such artists as rock band Living Colour, reggae legends Steel Pulse and Third World, folk rocker Ryan Adams, and pop stars Colin Hay of Men at Work and Marshall Crenshaw. But Fambro could also be found locally at summer concerts, special events and the Last Night Perry New Year’s Eve celebration.
