As Baltimore County teachers return to classes, they find getting vaccine difficult


Baltimore County school officials said there's no one to blame for the vaccine shortage.

“Of course, we don't control the amount of vaccines that comes into Baltimore County that's available for teachers. We're doing everything we can to make sure that teachers have the information that they need to access the vaccines to get the shots and to be prepared for coming back into school,” Herndon said. “It's not a prerequisite according to all of our health leaders and the folks that we're working with very closely including those Baltimore County and on the state level. It's not a prerequisite to have the vaccine to come back safely under schools."
