A week into Step 3 of the province’s reopening plan, Middlesex-London Health Unit inspectors are kicking into overdrive to give public pools the rubber stamp so people can dive in and stay cool.

“We have started to get a fair amount of notifications from operators who want to get their pool inspected and up and running,” said David Pavletic, a manager with the Middlesex-London Health Unit.
“A lot are beginning sending notices at the same time, so it is presenting a bit of a challenge for us to get out there and do the inspections, but we’re trying to do it in a timely manner.”
