As two Washington regions move to Phase 2, here is where every region stands Becca Savransky, SeattlePI Seven counties in Washington moved to Phase 2 on Monday after the state eased the requirements for regions to move forward in the state's new reopening plan. But as some counties prepare to slowly reopen, most others are meeting just one or two of the metrics needed to advance. The counties moving to Phase 2 are represented in two of the state's regions -- the Puget Sound and West regions -- which are part of the state's new phased reopening plan that looks at four different metrics across eight regions instead of a county-by-county approach. The seven counties entering Phase 2 include King, Snohomish, Pierce, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Pacific and Thurston counties, which will be able to reopen indoor dining at 25%, along with indoor gyms and entertainment facilities.
