Ascend Federal Credit Union has announced the opening of a regional operations center in Murfreesboro. The operations center will take up 18,000 square feet of the three-story building located at 1524 Williams Dr. It is Ascendâs first regional operations center. In 1988 Ascend opened its first branch at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro. Today, Ascend operates six branches in Rutherford County, four of which are located in Murfreesboro. The new operations center can accommodate up to 100 employees. The facility will be used as a talent recruitment and training hub, as well as offices for business development, branch operations, information technology and mortgage banking staff.
