ASO's virtual season ends on a Haydn note FacebookTwitterEmail Violinist Melissa WhiteProvided On Saturday night, the Albany Symphony will have its last concert of this very challenging season. “I'm so proud that we have been able to present our concerts on the nights we originally promised,” said David Alan Miller, music director of the ASO. “We did them all virtually, obviously. But for every one of them, the orchestra has been together in the room.” The concert will feature Chicago-based violinist Melissa White, playing composer George Tsontakis’ Violin Concerto No. 2, which won him the Grawemeyer Award as well as the Charles Ives Living award. This is White’s first time playing with the ASO, and it's not her only first.
