A professional photographer says learning how to take photos of the night sky has helped him cope with being in lockdown.
Ron Timehin, who focuses on city landscapes, travel and commercial work, took the opportunity when his work quietened down to delve into astrophotography, which he’d had a long-standing desire to do.
The British Astronomical Association, which represents hobbyists, has reported a huge surge in interest in stargazing during the coronavirus restrictions with more people contacting them and visiting the organisation’s YouTube channel. Sales of telescopes have also gone up.
